Management Assistant

FV-E Duties:
You will perform staff work with direct oversight in support of several airport programs and projects. Assist professional and technical staff in accomplishing administrative and functional task related to the Airport Improvement Program. Utilize a basic knowledge of general office procedures as well as program and management analysis support skills to perform tasks that may typically involve managing office automation tools, budgeting, training , purchasing, supply management, human resource management and provide staff support in each of these areas. You will work with the assistance of a more experienced professional to accomplish task, and work will be reviewed to ensure accuracy and quality.You will also provide a broad range of administrative duties which includes receiving and screening telephone calls and visitors, records management and time and attendance. You will make travel arrangements, review, proofread, format, and edit complex written documents and a variety of correspondence for the office. This correspondence may include responses to elected officials, stakeholders, Freedom of Information Act requests, etc.FV-F Duties:
You will provide phone coverage and other administrative support as required by the Manager. Track expenditures from the operating budget and provide reports to the Manager. Provide oversight for the correspondence program, property system, time and attendance, and training for the organization. Monitor and prepare appropriate documentation in support of procurement request for office supplies, materials, services and government leased vehicles as requested. Ensure appropriate levels of review and signature for approvals. Serve as the Property Delegate responsible for maintaining accountable property records in property management system. Perform annual inventory and process actions for approval by the Property Custodian. Review and verify employee time and attendance in payroll system and alert manager of any discrepancies.You will track stall completion of mandatory training. Assist management with calls for training. Enroll employees in training courses using electronic learning system, ensure course pre requisites are met and monitor completion of mandatory training. Track and provide updates to management team on travel estimates/expenditures for budgetary purposes. Process travel authorizations/vouchers in accordance with FAA Travel regulations and validate accounting codes prior to Manager approval. Review and issue agency determinations for Non-Rulemaking Aeronautical (NRA) studies submitted in accordance with CFR Part 157 under the supervision of an engineer or community planner. Track receipt and processing of FAA Form 5010 for updating the FAA's National Flight Data Center (NFDC) systems (NASR, NFDD, etc.). Review and issue Airports Division response on Obstruction Evaluation (OE) proposals. To qualify for this position at FV-E, FG/GS-7/8, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-D, FG/GS-3/6 grade levels. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Candidate must have experience in performance of duties for an organization of professional/technical staff which requires use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or other electronic systems.To qualify for this position at the FV-F, FG/GS-9/10, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E, FG/GS-7/8 grade levels. Candidate must have experience in the oversight of administrative programs to include:
office support services, personnel management, and document control. Assisting with supply needs, material movement, real property, and budget for the organization. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
