Air Traffic Control Specialist, (Integration and Efficiency Specialist)

Is responsible for integrating data derived from various operations reports, including accident/incident investigations, Unsatisfactory Condition Reports, Operational Performance Reviews and Quality Review Boards to develop and publish comprehensive analytical reports on system capacity, efficiency, delays and trends.Conducts trend analysis to ensure an optimized performance culture that seamlessly compliments a safety culture for the Air Traffic Organization (ATO).Evaluates system performance and produces finding and recommendations for the DDSO for feedback to ATO managers and senior leadership.Performs quality assurance control functions related to system efficiency focused on measuring and improving system efficiency.Provides data and analysis for the DDSO in order for the DDSO to interact with service delivery points, providing quantifiable and qualitative feedback on system performance data.Meets and has frequent contacts with both internal and external customers including higher ranking managers and supervisors, service center personnel, members of state, local and federal government, other foreign government aviation officials, general public, representatives of the aviation industry and military. Contacts take place in meetings and conferences or in unplanned situations where the DDSO is designated as a contact point and these meetings have the potential for considerable consequence to the NAS. Experience:
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience may include but not limited to:
Demonstrated experience in conducting in-depth research to develop comprehensive reports related to system capacity, efficiency, delays, trends and/or other National Airspace System (NAS) related reports. Skill in performing quality assurance to evaluate measure and make recommendations to improve system performance in the NAS.
