Job Summary

The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled health professional who assists and supports patient care teams under the leadership and supervision of MD, PA, or RN. The Medical Assistant is educated and trained to perform clerical, administrative, and clinical skills in a medical care environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our Medical Assistants work with supervising physicians and physician assistants performing the following responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with basic patient care and medical procedures

  • Draw and collect blood samples from patients, verify records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.

  • Measure vitals, verify medical history and purpose of visit

  • Assist clinical team with directing patient flow, following up on labs, and tracking supply inventory

  • Adhere to HIPAA Compliance & OSHA Safety and Patient Information & Confidentiality

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum one-year private clinic experience and Certified Medical Assistant.

  • Fluency in MS Office and Electronic Health Record.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment ensuring high-quality patient care.

  • Prefer Bilingual Mandarin language proficiency.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
