Position is Full time for the duration of the Maternity leave.
Qualifications Previous experience as a Recreation Director Must be organized and have the ability to lead others Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the activity programs of the facility.
Develop and implement procedures for the identification of medically related activity needs of the resident Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments Interview residents and families, as necessary, in a private setting Involve residents and families in planning facility activity programs Provide consultation to members of our staff, community agencies, etc.
in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the resident through the development of activity programs Coordinate activities with other departments, as necessary Delegate authority, responsibility, and accountability to other responsible department personnel Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the Administrator concerning the operation of the Recreation Department Ensure that all charted activity progress notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and of the resident's response to the service Develop preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
