Fortinet Consultant - Charlotte Local with Security Clearance
Fortinet - Senior Consultant - Queens, NY Entelligence is seeking a SrConsultant to support Fortinet's clientsThe successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from Entelligence, Fortinet, and the end-userThe SrConsultant will function as the Fortinet products Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will interact directly with the customers personnelThe SrConsultant will serve as the technical expert on executive-level project teams within the customer providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternativesThe SrConsultant contributes to the development of new principles and concepts, works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingeniousThis position requires a US Citizenship
Responsibilities:
o Assisting client staff with day-to-day Fortinet products operation/supporto Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updateso Development of test plans and test new features and/or releaseso Verifying configurations and implementing best practiceso Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet productso Training and knowledge transfer to client staffo Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet's product line and technologieso Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion JOB REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAP, etc.)o Experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administrationo Experience with Network Security Productso Experience working as a Professional Services Consultant/ Engineer a pluso Solid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies such as:
o Network Security Infrastructure - Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFio Security systems - Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Controlo Excellent troubleshooting skillso Outstanding oral communication and presentation skillso Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.o Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.o React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.o Flexible during times of changeo Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.o Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivityo Strong commitment and self-driven individualo Able to travel as needed.o Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Queens, NY
