Position Overview:
The Guest Services Representative role will offer white glove customer service while also displaying an enthusiastic and professional personality.
This position will serve the needs of patients and families of our healthcare client based in Queens, NY (New York).
In this role, you will assist identified patients, family members and caregivers that are admitted to a specific unit within the hospital.
You will provide assistance via face-to-face interactions, over the phone, email, and other forms of communication, providing prompt, courteous and customer-oriented service.
You will make recommendations and offer suggestions, as well as fulfill patient and family requests to satisfy their needs.
This position requires exemplary hospitality skills, knowledge of the local area, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, which can include some weekends and nights.
It is preferred the candidate read, writes, and speaks fluent English and Mandarin, but not mandatory.
This is a part-time position.
Compensation for this role is $23 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Providing uncompromising service to patients and guests by arranging personal and convenience services Responding to patients and their guest's requests for visitor information, special arrangements or services and planning or identifying proper providers to assist Responding to special requests from patients and their guests with unique needs and follow up to promote satisfaction Answer, record and process all calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns Act as a role model of the hospitals' mission, vision, and values Fulfilling patient requests, running errands, coordinating dining needs, performing, and presenting information research and various other personal service requests Contact appropriate individuals or client departments as necessary to resolve calls, requests, or problems Flexibility and willingness to take on various roles within the patient lifecycle depending on Client and business needs Triaging any clinical or health related requests to appropriate Client liaison assigned Project an approachable and professional image at all times Promote meaningful relationships through engaging and informed conversations with patients and guests via face-to-face interaction, phone, and email Respond to patient and guest requests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, without exception Collaborate on innovative ideas and initiatives with colleagues, Guest Services Manager and Account Director Able to adapt to schedule changes as needed to ensure appropriate staffing Consistently provide best in class customer service in a fast paced, un-structured environment Adhere to all Circles fulfillment policies and procedures in delivering an exceptional consumer experience Ability to uphold hospital enforced HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) Guidelines and Regulations with respect to sensitive patient information Requirements Preference for candidates that read, write, and speak fluent English and Mandarin (but not mandatory) HS Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred 3
years of customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting; experience in healthcare is also strongly preferred Demonstrated strong MS Office abilities including PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word, Internet searching and typing.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills as well as the proven ability to provide quality service in a fast-paced environment.
