Lab Medical Assistant (Urology)Forest Hills, NYNY Health (NYH) is excited to expand our medical services to include the Center for Urology, Primary Care, The Nephrology Center and The Department of Physical Therapy.
With multiple locations spanning from the Bronx and Queens to Suffolk County, our health care experts are available and prepared to put your health first.
In this role you will:
Manage patient intakes (Record accurate patient information).
Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing.
Perform audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTS, nebulizer treatments, urine tests.
Measure and record patients' vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations.
Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
Provide assistance to physicians during examinations.
Perform venipuncture & Point of care testing.
Administer EKGs.
We require:
A Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma At least 1 year of experience.
Bilingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred Proficiency in Word/Excel Hours:
Monday-Friday and alternating SaturdaysSalary up to $22 per hour.
