We are currently hiring Teacher's Aides, Teacher Assistants, Special Education Teachers, and Related Service Providers.
We are also hiring for DSP ( Direct Support Professional ) positions throughout the NYC and Long Island area.
We have Day Habilitation Centers, Group Residential Homes and in home services.
Regular work hours at the Whitestone Day school are from 8:
00 am - 3:
30 pm Mon - Friday (1/2 hour lunch).
The school operates on a year round schedule (12 months) We generally follow a school calendar for holidays and school breaks.
This position requires you to work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 5-21 years old ( Day School) Salary Ranges for Education Positions Teacher's Aide - $15.
00Teacher Aides will be given four months to receive TA Level 1 Certification and the corresponding pay rate.
Teacher Assistant Level 1 - $ 18.
00 Teacher Assistant Level 2 - $ 18.
50 Teacher Assistant Level 3 - $ 18.
